Which size problem do you have?
If the garment label differs from the ordered option, photograph both. Make sure colour, style and quantity identify the same order line, especially if you bought several similar basics. A bag sticker that says M and a garment tag that says S are both worth showing. Describe the disagreement and let support identify whether the bag, the item or its label was mixed up. A changing product page is a poor substitute for your original order confirmation.
If the labels match but the item is uncomfortable, identify where the fit breaks down. A jacket can fit across the chest and still bind when you reach forward. A shoe can have enough length and too little room over the toes. There is also a third possibility: the correct label arrived but the finished item appears to differ from an explicit measurement in the listing. Save that particular chart and check how the seller took the measurement before choosing the reason for your request.
Assemble the evidence for this item
Save the order line showing the selected size, the product name and the amount paid. Take a full photo of the item, a close photo of its size label and a clear photo of the barcode on the original product bag. Hacoo’s return help specifically asks for the label, barcode and the part that feels too large or too small. Keep the images together so a sleeve measurement from one sweatshirt cannot be mistaken for another. Add the date you received this item.
For a two-piece set, record which half is affected and whether each piece has its own label. If you bought an L and an XL to compare, keep the two bags apart. Take one picture of each garment beside its own bag before repacking. Check whether the order lists a single set or two separate items. That determines what you need to ask about if the trousers fit and the matching top is the wrong size.
Take measurements the reviewer can reproduce
Lay a hoodie flat on a level surface, smooth the fabric and leave it unstretched. If the listing measures chest width from one underarm to the other, use those same points. Show the zero mark and final reading in the same photograph, with the unit visible. A second, wider image can establish where you put the tape. Flat garment width, circumference and the buyer’s body measurement are three different quantities. Identify which one the chart uses before drawing a conclusion.
Consider an illustrative listing that gives a flat chest width of 54 cm for M. You measure 49 cm between the same points. Report the two readings, attach the chart for that option and mention any published tolerance. This example establishes no universal threshold. For shoes, photograph the size label inside each shoe and the box label. Include the sizing system printed beside the number. Compare a foot-length field with your foot and an insole-length field with an insole only if the listing specifies that method.
Send one clear request and keep the deadline
Open the affected order in the account used for payment. Choose the relevant item and quantity, then look for the after-sales or return option. Hacoo’s help also describes starting a return request through account support. The public policy gives a 15-day window after receipt for its ordinary return route and lists conditions for the item. Read the instructions for your product and destination straight away. Keep a copy of the initial request and the timestamp, especially if support later asks for more photos.
A useful message is short: “My order shows a black hoodie in M. The sewn-in label says S and the outer bag says M. I have attached all three photos. Please confirm the return method and who covers postage.” If the labels match, replace that middle sentence with your actual fit or measurement issue. If you would prefer a different size, ask what this particular order offers. Wait for the answer before placing and paying for a second order that depends on the first being refunded.
Agree the postage and contents before sending anything
Hacoo’s returns policy assigns return postage to the buyer for an ordinary change-of-mind return and says it covers applicable costs for an accepted incorrect-item case. Its shipping information also describes an after-sales route that can proceed without posting an item. The return decision for your order should tell you which route applies. Ask for the destination, any label, the dispatch deadline and whether you must advance postage. If reimbursement is offered, ask which service and proof of payment it accepts.
Before accepting a proposed refund, check the amount against the price paid for the affected item after discounts. Separate that price from original delivery charges and new return postage. If you paid for a bundle, ask whether the offer assumes you will send back the whole bundle. Use the address or label supplied for the approved case. Keep the carrier receipt showing dispatch and the tracking reference. If support tells you to keep the item, save that instruction alongside the refund decision.
Track the refund from the right starting point
Note four dates separately: the request, the decision, any return delivery and the date the service says it issued the refund. A message acknowledging your photos says little about when a credit will reach your account. Check the amount, currency and destination named in the decision. Only start counting a payment provider’s processing window once you know the refund was actually sent to that provider.
Hacoo’s public refund policy quotes 5–7 working days for PayPal and 8–15 working days for a credit card. The EU help page says the original payment channel affects the time. Treat any estimate against the payment route and terms shown on your own case. If that window has passed, reopen the same conversation with the order line, refund reference, amount and issue date. If support says your case is awaiting a return scan instead, send the acceptance receipt and tracking record for that parcel.
